This actually marks the first time a movie released by Walt Disney Pictures has been given a PG-13 for any sort of sexual content. Is it really not appropriate for younger kids? It's significant only in that it's clearly meant to set things up for a fifth movie.Ħ. ![]() ![]() The closing credits are very long, though, so if your kids get too antsy, you can always wait till the movie hits premium cable or DVD/Blu-ray and see the scene then. There is a very brief scene after the closing credits, as there was in each of the first three PotC movies. Do I need to sit through the credits for a bonus scene at the end? I've not seen it in anything other than IMAX 3D, so I can't say for certain, but I'd say that for a film like this you should either go for all the bells and whistles or not bother to go at all. And the cinematography is attractive enough that IMAX does add a bit to the experience. The 3D effects are fun, with swords and the occasional skeletal hand pointing out of the screen at you. If you're going to go see it, you might as well go whole hog. Is it worth paying more for 3D? How about IMAX? ![]()
